Canton's scenic trails were developed to offer residents an opportunity to experience the splendors of nature close to home. Visitors will be able to make a personal connection with nature through walking, running, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and wildlife watching.

Existing Trail Network


Lower Rouge TrailCanton's trail system continues to expand annually through the help of partnerships and grants. Canton residents and guests can access most parks and neighborhoods via the Lower Rouge Trail, Fellows Creek Wetland Nature Trail, ITC Corridor Trail, I-275 Metro Trail and other local pathways.  

Access to the existing trail network can be obtained via several locations throughout Canton. The Canton Trails Map provides appropriate entry points, cross-walks, and parking. Hours & Parking


The trail-head parking lot is open daily from 6 am - 10 pm. There are several parking options available, please reference the map for the options closest to you.
