Transportation Study

Western Wayne County Transportation Study
In 2006, the Canton Municipal Services Department participated on the Western Wayne Transportation Task Force. The task force serves as a forum for local communities and agencies to communicate goals and needs of transportation in Western Wayne county.

The task force commissioned a long-range transportation study to help maximize the efficiency of area roadways, promote a safe roadway system, develop transportation that minimizes negative impacts to the environment, plan roadway improvements, and develop transportation based on realistic financial resources.
