WELCOME TO FOOTGOLF – NOW AT FELLOWS CREEK GOLF CLUBCanton's Newest Kick
FootGolf is a very ‘addictive’ sport that combines the best of the popular sport of soccer with an elite sport like golf. Similar to golf, the players’ intent is to kick a ball into the hole with the least amount of strokes possible.
FootGolf uses the basic model of golf, with a tee box, a green, bunker, hazards and 18 holes of play. There is par for each hole, mimicking golf’s scorecard, and you still play as a twosome, threesome or foursome. The main differences are the cups (which are 21 inches in diameter), shorter holes (most people can't kick a soccer ball farther than 50 yards), and the equipment needed (no need to carry around heavy golf clubs in FootGolf!). For more information please call 734/483-5600
Head out to Freedom Park and experience the sport shaking up the golf world. Located at the corner of Palmer and Sheldon Roads, Canton's Disc Golf Course wraps through a wooded area with the calm beauty of a traditional golf course.
New and experienced players will find this professionally maintained course challenging. It's a great way to exercise, have a family outing and have some fun. People interested in starting a league or participating in a tournament should contact 734/483-5600.
