Passport Applications

The Canton Clerk's office now accepts applications for U.S. Passport Books and Passport Cards. Completed applications, including all required documentation, are accepted Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. during regular business days.

If you have an expired passport, you may be eligible to renew on your own by mail using form DS-82, found online at www.travel.state.gov. Renewal fees are $75 for each passport book.

New Fees - Effective February 1, 2008

Customers making routine applications should receive their passport book or passport card within six to eight weeks. Expedited services assures receipt of a passport within about three weeks for an additional fee. All inquiries on processing must be made directly to the National Passport Information Center at 1-877/487-2778. If you are traveling within 14 days and require a passport, you will need to visit the Chicago Passport Agency in person.
