Asian Pacific Program

Canton offers a program for our new Americans that provides English classes and social get-togethers. The Asian Pacific program is sponsored by the Association of Chinese Americans. Please contact the Senior Adult Program at 734/394-5485 for more information.

Therapeutic Recreation: Leisure Club

This program is for persons ages 15 and up with physical and/ or mental impairments, promoting participant social skills and independence in the community. The program usually runs on Saturdays or Sundays, and involves supervised outings and activities. Contact Colleen Crowe for more information at 734/398-5570.

Leisure Club Night on the Town

Leisure Club participants, here is another opportunity to spend some time with your friends! Join us on a regular basis as we meet up at a Canton restaurant for dinner. Periodically, we’ll arrange for our group to have our own large area, where we’ll simply enjoy each other’s company. Check the current Canton Leisure Services Discover booklet for more information.
