Funny & Twisted Show Explores the Dark Side of Love! Catch "The Un-Valentine’s Show" at The Village Theater

Canton, MI – January 21, 2009 "The Un-Valentine's Show: Songs And Tales Of Unforgiveness, Heartbreak, Dysfunction And Revenge" will take place at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton Michigan on Saturday February 6, 2010 at 8:00 pm. You don't have to hate Cupid in order to enjoy this show – it’s designed to be enjoyed by friends and lovers too!

The Un-Valentine's Show contains funny, irreverent (and some serious) songs about the unfriendly side of love, written by four Michigan songwriters, and sung one by one in a round robin fashion. Songs include several with a dramatic angle, but mostly comedic melodies covering topics with a funny, twisted viewpoint about things like unrequited love, talking, and love triangles will be presented. This tour developed out of the Jammin' Round with Jamie-Sue Songwriters Series and has had a popular run for the last 4 years at venues in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois.

Audience will hear sad songs, mad songs and just plain funny songs about the unfriendly side of love. In addition to the music, part of the entertainment is the interaction that the songwriters have with each other and the audience. This annual show is embarking on its 5th year and will feature Dave Boutette, John Latini, Andre Villoch and Jamie-Sue Seal. Some of the songs presented will be "I Never Liked You", "The Stalker Song", and "The Day The Bearded Lady Died".

Tickets are $15 and are conveniently available on line at Cantonvillagetheater.org or by calling 734/394-5460. This intimate performance will take place in the Biltmore Studio, general admission. A cash bar is also available. Remember, you don't have to hate Valentine's Day to love this show!
