Easter Bunny To Appear at Canton’s Annual Bunny Breakfast & Eggstravaganza

Canton, MI – March 4, 2013 Canton Leisure Services is planning two egg-citing Easter events this spring.  Join us for our "Annual Easter Eggstravaganza" on Saturday, March 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in beautiful Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road.

This popular event will give children ages 11 and under a chance to see the Easter bunny and to take part in an outside egg hunt, weather permitting, as well as enjoy some special activities, crafts, and entertainment in the Summit Gym. A $5 fee per family will be required on site to participate. No advanced registration is necessary.

Egg hunts will run continuously until 12 p.m. and will be divided into tow age groups to keep hunting fair for our littlest participants. Please allow extra time for parking, as historically this is a well-attended event. Remember, the grounds may also be wet and messy in early spring, so please dress accordingly.

The Easter celebration continues with a scrumptious "Easter Bunny Breakfast" the next Saturday on March 30 from 9-11 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Enjoy a tasty buffet that will include all of your favorite breakfast items from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. The menu will include: breakfast pastries, a complete pancake/French toast bar, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, juices, milk, soft drinks & coffee.

Children will also have the opportunity to visit with the big-eared guest of honor during the event and also enjoy strolling entertainment. Tickets are available at the Summit on the Park now through Monday, March 25. Purchase yours today for $15 for participants 13 and up and for $10 for those 4 to 12 years of age. Children 3 and under are just $4 each. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents, don’t forget your cameras for these memory-making events!

So hop on over to these two egg-cellent events and celebrate the start of spring. For more information, please visit or call 734/394-5460.
