The Canton Concert Band
www.cantonband.com or conductor@cantonband.com
The resident concert band of the Village Theater at Cherry Hill with nearly 50 members. We are a group of volunteers from various backgrounds, and from all over the Metro Detroit area.
Our experience levels range from novice players to professional musicians. As a non-profit organization, our goal is to bring beautiful music to audiences of all ages.
Our themed, artistically driven, public concerts feature all styles of music. Every concert is a unique show...a full sensory extravaganza! With the music being the focal point, our stage shows have lights, props, scenery, actors and usually a surprise or two...providing our audience with something that is unique and different from what they might expect.
Interested in playing music with us?
We are in need of musicians 16 years of age and older for many instrumental sections in the band.
We meet at the Village Theater every Thursday evening from 7 - 9:00 p.m. Dues are $25 per year.
