Canton is a great place to live, work, play and shop.
Canton has developed from a small farming community into Michigan’s 11th largest community. Over 70,000 residents have been added to Canton over the last 30 years, and new residential and commercial developments dot the community. Great attention is paid to architecture, building materials and landscaping. We also value our heritage by preserving and encouraging the adaptive reuse of historical structures.

So as you wander around Canton, take the time to browse through our many shops, have a meal or two at our fine restaurants and maybe a walk through one of our beautiful parks. Above all, please enjoy our community and all it has to offer.
