Community Alerts

Due to the Fall Fireworks display and expected heavy traffic in Heritage Park, the Director of Police Services has issued an emergency traffic order in accordance with the Uniform Traffic Code for Cities, Townships and Villages, R28.1127, Rule 27, ordering the following:

Effective Friday, September 24, 2021 from 8 pm - 9:30 pm, Canton Center Road between Cherry Hill and Palmer will be closed.

Effective Friday, September 24, 2021 from 8 pm until 9:30 pm, Summit Parkway will be closed from Canton Center to Glengarry Blvd.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.


The attached list of guns are scheduled to be destroyed on October 9, 2021.  Owners wishing to claim their property prior to destruction should contact the Property Clerk at 734/394-5432.
