Summer is what we do best. Whether it be park picnics, morning yoga, arts 'n crafts or pool time, Canton Leisure Services' preschool, sports, enrichment, and therapeutic recreation day camps are no exception.

Camp Information and Resources
Summer Camp Fair: to learn more about different camp options, join us on March 9, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for the 2019 Summer Camp Fair. Location: Summit on the Park, 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton, MI 48188.
Summer Camp Brochure: a complete listing of all the preschool, youth and teen summer camps offered at the Summit on the Park and Canton Leisure Services. The 2019 brochure will be available in early March.
Is the Summer Camp that you were interested in registering for already full? We encourage you to add your name to the waitlist for any and all weeks that you are still interested in being considered for. Participants will be called from these lists as cancellations happen and vacancies become available.
Important Camp Requirement - Health Appraisal: All participants registered for one of Canton's State-Licensed Day Camps, which include: Camp Canton, Camp A.B.L.E., Camp Leisure Club, and the B.L.O.C.K. Stay-Cation, will be required to submit a current year Health Appraisal Form to the Summit on the Park at least 30 days prior to the start of Camp.

Camp Withdrawal Form: If you are unable to attend summer camp please refer to the Camp Withdrawal Form (PDF) for the guidelines to remove your child from camp. All forms must be completed by the participant's parent or guardian and submitted to the Summit on the Park front desk or emailed to the summer camp supervisor. If you have any questions please call 734/394-5460. B.L.O.C.K. Stay-Cation 2020
The B.L.O.C.K. Summer Stay-cation camp is open for youth ages 11-17 yrs. Each week we will have excursions, daily activities, and plenty of time to hang out with friends. Summer long membership, weekly membership options available.

2019 Camp Canton
Ages: 5 to 10
Cost Per Week: $185M/$205R/$267NR
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Location: Summit on the Park Dance Studios A/B/C
Registration: begins online and in-person March 9, at 10:00 a.m.
Camp Canton's 2019 season will run weekly from June 17 - August 23.
Camp Canton is a week-long day camp experience licensed by the State of Michigan. Activity-filled days keep us busy with sports, crafts, swimming, theme days, guest speakers, and an "off-site" field trip every Thursday.
Campers must bring a lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, and towel everyday. Tennis shoes are also necessary to maximize participant involvement in everything that Camp Canton has to offer. Our highly trained staff is certified in CPR and First Aid. Staff to Camper Ratios are 1:6. For additional information please visit the Camp Canton web page.
2020 Canton Activity Crew (C.A.C) - Supervised Playground Program
Ages: 5 to 15 years
When: June 15 - August 7, 2020

Canton Activity Crew (CAC)- a drop-in supervised playground program for children ages 5 - 15 years. Days at CAC include, themed activities, games, crafts, and so much fun all summer long!
Children must be 5 years old as of the first day of camp to participate in Canton Activity Crew, no exceptions will be made.
For the safety of your child, we are limiting the number of participants at each site to 70. This will keep our child to counselor ratio around 1:10 and will be based on first come first served. Once a site is full, a notification will be send through our Rained Out text service informing parents. Register to Rained Out By texting CANTONCAC to 84483. Standard text message rates apply.
2019 One-time Fee
Early Bird Registration will begin online on Mar 7 at 10:00 a.m. and will end on June 14. The one-time registration fee for this summer will be $40 for the first child, $30 for each additional child. Early Bird is for Canton Residents only.
Register on site starting June 15 at the playground site for $45 for the first child and $40 for each additional child. $56NR for the first child, $49NR for each additional child, cash only please.

2019 Theater Camps
Broadway Boot Camp
Campers will learn what it takes to thrive in the world of performing arts. Developing attention, focus, teamwork, and listening skills will be our mission, all while having fun during the Village Theater's popular "Broadway Boot Camp". We'll devote time to improve, acting, voice, and movement which will culminate in a performance and awards show/presentation on Friday evening.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
If the Plymouth/Canton School District closes due to inclement weather during the school year (typically due to winter weather conditions), all Leisure Services Department programs/classes held prior to 4:00 p.m. will be canceled. For Leisure Services programs/classes that begin after 4:00 p.m. a determination to cancel will be made no later than 2:00 p.m. that day.
