The Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS), with support from the Educational Excellence Foundation (EEF) and Canton Leisure Services, are helping families kick off fall and the back-to-school season by hosting the Third Annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Canton’s Heritage Park.
This free event will offer a variety of student performances and showcases. In addition, local schools and community groups, clubs, and area resource centers will be onsite providing valuable information to position your children for success in the coming school year.
“This annual event is the ultimate way to celebrate the 2019-20 school year with the rest of the Canton Community,” said Jennifer Provenzano, Recreation & Cultural Arts Supervisor. “We certainly look forward to another enriching and productive school year for the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.”
Event-goers will be able to meet principals and district leaders, learn about P-CCS programs -- from preschool through high school. In addition, participants will be able to enjoy special savings on Canton Leisure Services programs and classes with Early Bird registration pricing. Area residents are also encouraged to try out the EFF Fun Zone featuring food, fun, and games for the entire family!
Building on last year’s success, this exciting tradition offers plenty of family fun, as well as useful information and resources all in one centralized area in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road, Canton, MI, 48188. For more information about the P-CCS Back to School Bash, call 734/394-5460 or visit www.pccsk12.com or www.cantonfun.org.
