Who doesn’t love a good game of Cornhole? The Canton Sports Center is currently organizing new Cornhole leagues that will run from January 29 through March 26, 2020, at Kickers Sports Bar & Grill, located at 46555 W. Michigan Avenue, Canton, MI.

Players 18 years of age and older can select a play date of Wednesday or Thursday for this 8-week league, which will be run as blind draw doubles with individual standings. Prizes will be awarded for the first through sixth place winners.

The league fee is $50 per person. The deadline to register is January 27, 2020, at 5 p.m.

One of the fastest-growing sports in the country, Cornhole is most often played for fun in yards with family or friends or in pick-up games while tailgating or at concerts. Known as the parking lot version of horseshoes, players take turns throwing bags of corn kernels at a raised platform/board in an effort to score points. The first team to reach 21 points is declared the winner.

For more information or to register for the Cornhole Leagues that are starting soon, call the Canton Sports Center at 734/483-5600 or visit csc.canton-mi.org.
