Canton Leisure Services is offering an entertaining, fun-filled way to celebrate Easter this spring during Canton’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza. This egg-citing event will be held on Saturday, April 4 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and takes place outside at the Heritage Park Splash Playground and Wooden Playscape, as well as in the Summit on the Park, booth located at 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton, MI.
This popular event will give children ages 11 and under a chance to see the Easter bunny and to take part in an outside egg hunt, weather permitting, as well as enjoy some special activities, a spring craft, and entertainment in the Summit on the Park. Indoor activities include a Bunny and Chicks petting zoo; a Peep Walk; Carnival Games with prizes, and refreshments. In addition, Magician Magic Joe will be performing in the Maple Room at 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:00 p.m.
Egg hunts will run continuously until 12:30 p.m. and will be divided into two age groups to keep hunting fair for our littlest participants. Please allow extra time for parking, as historically this is a well-attended event. Remember, the grounds may also be wet and messy in early spring, so please dress accordingly.
No advanced registration is necessary. Fees are $5 per child for Canton Residents or $6 per child for Non-Residents and can be paid onsite; cash only, please.
This year’s sponsors include: Brightside Dental, the Goddard School for Early Learning, National Flag Football, and Sweetwaters Tea and Coffee.
