In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s lasting legacy, Canton Township and the Canton Commission for Culture, Arts, and Heritage would like to invite everyone to view this special video at: https://youtu.be/SxTvvo3ixQk,  which features highlights from previous MLK Day Celebrations, that were hosted at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill.

“Canton Township Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2021” features the following segments: Lt Colonel Alexander Jefferson, one of the few remaining living Tuskegee Airmen; a performance from MLK 2019 by the Dodson Elementary School Choir, led by Virginia Thorne-Hermann; a panel of local Morehouse College Alumni; a special musical performance by Kelsey Rose, who has participated in numerous Canton celebrations of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; and a panel of Interfaith Leaders from the Canton community from 2016.

We hope that you enjoy this special retrospective celebration that is presented by the members of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sub-Committee, Canton Community Television, and Canton Township.
