On Saturday, July 24, 2021, area residents are invited to attend the Seventh Annual Rally on Ridge for a festive evening of food, fun, music, and more to benefit the Canton Farmers Market. This special fundraiser will feature food trucks lined up on Ridge Road between Uptown Avenue and Cherry Hill Road.
From 4 – 9 p.m., Cherry Hill School, located at 50440 Cherry Hill Road, will play host to food trucks featuring deliciously gourmet menus, as well as live music from talented local artists. Event-goers who plan to stay for the music are encouraged to bring along a lawn chair or picnic blanket.
A variety of food trucks are expected to take part in this year’s event. Find a complete list of participating food trucks on the Canton Farmers Market Facebook page the week of the event. Spaces are still available for food trucks that are interested in participating in this year’s event. Contact the Canton Farmers Market at email@example.com for details. This year’s live entertainment will feature CrasherZ Band, playing all your favorite R&B, Dance, and Rock hits.
In addition to food trucks, a Beer Garden featuring hard cider selections will also be available for participants 21 years of age. Discounted Pre-Sale Beer Tickets will be available online at www.cantonfun.org from July 5-23, 2021, where you can purchase 5 tickets for $15 just by entering Rally on Ridge 2021 under Register for Programs. Day of event tickets will be available onsite for $5 per ticket or five for $20.
“We are excited to be able to bring back this annual event that offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a pleasant summer evening outside with some delicious eats from a fantastic lineup of gourmet food trucks, as well as talented local entertainment,” said Jennifer Franz, Canton Health and Wellness Specialist. “We’re hoping that folks come and enjoy delicious eats, cool beverages, and a night full of fun entertainment.”
A portion of the proceeds collected from food vendor sales during this special fundraiser will benefit the Canton Farmers Market, which is currently celebrating its fifteenth season. With the recent influx in “buy local” initiatives, the Canton Farmers Market is seeing an increase in both the number of participating growers and in customers. As such, the market continues to expand its offerings during Market hours, which are held every Sunday, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. now through October 17, 2021, at Preservation Park.
The public is encouraged to attend this special fundraising event, which will be held at Cherry Hill School. Additional parking will be available at Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge. No admission is needed to attend the event. For additional information about this special fundraiser, as well as the Canton Farmers Market, visit www.canton-mi.org/496.
