Under local, state, and federal public health guidelines and requirements, Summit staff continues to modify safety protocols and augment operations accordingly. Members and drop-in guests continue to have access to strength and fitness center equipment, as well as the walking track; however, the Aquatic Center remains closed for renovations. Summit members have access to over 25 fitness classes per week (included in their membership or a Stay Fit, Stay Home, Stay Virtual package), that are available via Zoom. Pre-registration is required online or in person at the Summit Front Desk.

Virtual Land Group Fitness ClassesAll Summit on the Park group fitness classes have now transitioned to "Stay Fit, Stay Home, Stay Virtual" classes. Choose from a variety of sessions, including: Yoga, Strength-Based classes, Zumba, Step, BEST (senior-focused classes), and more - all taught by the Summit's Group Fitness Instructors via Zoom. Registration is required for all of these classes, which we will provide Zoom link at the bottom of the second page of your receipt.
Summit members will have complete access to all virtual group fitness classes FREE of charge as part of their current Summit membership. Canton Residents and Non-Residents can purchase a virtual membership package, which will provide unlimited access to all of the Summit on the Park's virtual fitness classes. Register for this package today! Once registered for the three-week virtual fitness class package, please remember to register for individual Virtual classes to receive the Zoom link and password.

Canton Club 55+ UpdateClub 55+ currently remains closed until further notice, due to the ongoing COVID-19 environment. Our staff looks forward to welcoming everyone back again once the current climate is deemed safe to re-open.
For the foreseeable future, Canton Club 55+ will be offering programs that can be enjoyed virtually, on a computer, or over the phone. Registration available online or by calling 734/394-5485. Tax Counseling Assistance: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Canton Club 55+ is no longer able to continue its free tax aid program through AARP for qualifying seniors this tax season.
A number of free online tax filing programs are available, including: https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/ and www.irs.gov (just select ‘Do Your Taxes For Free’). In addition, visit aarp.org and click on Information for You: Tax Aide at the bottom of the page to find additional recommendations. Also, visit IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) - offered through Wayne Metro Community Action Agency. Call 313/388-9799 or visit online to book a virtual appointment. Please note that these services may have income or age limits.
