Fee: $20 AARP Members/$25 Non-AARP Members

Refresh your driving skills with AARP's Driver Safety course. Learn defensive driving techniques, proven safety strategies, new traffic laws and rules of the road. Plus, there are no tests to pass. Simply sign up and learn. Upon completion you could receive a discount on your car insurance!

8th Annual Jewelry and Purse Sale

May 3 & 4, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.


Start your spring cleaning and donate your gently used or new handbags, and/or jewelry to the senior center for us to resell. Please drop off your donations to the Parkview room in the Summit before Thursday, April 28. We would like to thank everyone in advance for their donations.

Do you or someone you love have high blood pressure and/or diabetes?  A healthy diet can help you prevent, control, and even reverse diabetes and hypertension. These tips will get you started and help you manage both conditions with tasty, good-for-you food. Taught by Melissa Gordie, Nurse Practitioner.

Senior Memorial Day

May 18, 1 – 3 p.m.

Our Annual Senior Memorial Day will be held in the Heritage Park Gazebo--weather permitting--or inside at the Summit, should the weather be inclement. This is our opportunity to honor our participants who have passed away this past year.
