Summit Annual Maintenance ShutdownBeginning Monday, September 5 at Noon, the Summit on the Park will close for its Annual Maintenance Shutdown and will re-open on Saturday, September 10 at 6 a.m. For more information about this annual maintenance shutdown, contact the Summit front desk at 394-5460.
Freedom Park Pickleball Courts Grand Opening!
Tuesday, September 13 at 12:30 p.m.
The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Freedom Park Pickleball Courts during a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 13 at 12:30 p.m.; weather permitting. These courts were funded as a community benefit through a capital contribution from Pulte Homes for Grandview Estates. Freedom Park’s Pickleball Courts are located on the southwest corner of Sheldon and Palmer Roads. Extremely popular with seniors, this fun game is now gaining fans of all ages across the country. September Swim Meet
Saturday, September 24
This meet will give your child the experience to know what its like to be on a competitive swim team. We allow participants to swim in 2 individual events and 1 relay race. In order to compete in the swim meet your child must be a level 4 youth swimmer or higher. If you dont know contact the aquatic office at 734-394-5371 and they can schedule a swim test with you. The swim meet will be Saturday September 24th at 6pm-8pm. Registration Deadline will be September 16th by 5pm.
Fall Fun Continues in October
Pumpkin Patch in the Pool
Thursday, October 6
Tired of searching those dusty fields for your perfect pumpkin to decorate? We are too. We’ve put a fun spin on the tradition by creating a patch in the pool just for you! So, don’t forget your suit, towel and friends. Make an evening of it! Hunt for your perfect pumpkin in the pool, then deck it out at our decorating station or take it home to carve it up. 50 limited spaces available for this event that includes donuts and cider.
Fee: $12 M/$15 R/$18 NR

TICKET SALES BEGIN OCTOBER 1 FOR RESIDENTS
Show off your Halloween costume while you travel along our themed-path collecting goodies and surprises! Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children during this special event. Each child must have a ticket to participate. A limited number of tickets for designated time slots will be available for purchase beginning October 1, 2016 at the Summit on the Park front desk. Proof of residency will be required to purchase tickets; a limit of 10 tickets per purchaser. There will be no tickets at the door.
