It's never too early to start planning your spring and summer activities and adventures! Learn what exciting opportunities are available during the warmer months at a special Camps and Class Registration Day event at the Summit on the Park! If you're still wondering what to do with the kids this summer, this special event is the perfect place to come and see what Canton Leisure Services has to offer. We will have several representatives from traditional summer-long camps, weekly camps, and summer programming all in one place. In addition, staff will be available to assist you with registration. FREE Parenting Workshop
March 14 from 6:00-8:30pm
Canton Leisure Services is teaming up with First Step to present a FREE Parenting Workshop at the Summit on the Park. Come learn important tips that will help keep your teen safe in these challenging modern times. Topics will include: technology updates, dating abuse and how to create a teen safety plan. Family Fun Days with Bartlett’s Kids ClubSaturday, March 18, 12:00-1:30pm
Bartlett's Kids Club will have a special visitor this month! Officer Skostak and his partner, Hoss from the Canton Police Department. K9 Unit will be visiting with the Kids Club. Always wanted to see a police K9 Unit up close? This will be an amazing opportunity to ask questions and learn about what the Officer and his partner in the K9 Unit can do together. Children will also receive special police goodies from our friends at the Canton Police Department.

Canton Winter Famers Market - March 19
Our next Winter Farmers Market will be held on Sunday, March 19 in the Summit on the Park's Banquet Center lobby, located at 46000 Summit Parkway. Market hours will take place from 10am-2pm. A variety of local vendors will be onsite offering a wide assortment of Michigan-grown and made products, including: honey, produce, baked goods, jams, spices, granola, and hand-crafted items. Be sure to mark your calendars, because the last Winter Market of the season will be held at the Summit on the Park on Sunday, April 23.
Calling area seniors ages 55 and up! The Canton Farmers Market encourages local seniors to take advantage of our Healthy Food Connect: Canton program to learn about nutritious, fresh local foods available at our Farmers Market. Interested seniors may schedule an orientation with the market staff to receive a one-on-one tour of the Farmers Market and information about the food assistance programs currently accepted at the markets. The first 300 Healthy Food Connect participants to attend a scheduled orientation will receive $5 in Market Bucks to purchase eligible food products at the market. Monthly drawings for prizes will also be held for those who attend the market, so be sure to check in with the market staff each time you attend! Club 55+ Singles Mixer - March 24
Are you 55 years of age or older and are looking for ways to get out of the house and socialize more? Saturday, April 1Bring the kids out to enjoy Canton's Easter Eggstravaganza at the Summit on the Park and Heritage park. No advance registration is required; however there is a $3 fee per child for Canton Residents or a $4 fee per child for Non-Residents, which can be paid for onsite at the event’s information booths. Continuous egg hunts will be held between 10:30am-1:30 pm in two age categories to help keep the “hunting” fair for even our littlest participants.Please allow some extra time for parking, as historically this is a well-attended event. Help us shower the children and babies currently being treated at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital with gifts. This special event
will include a light lunch provided by the Canton Kiwanis Club, as well as a visit from a C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital of the University of Michigan staff person. Help bring a smile to these tiny patients, all while having fun. Participants are asked to R.S.V.P with Club 55+ desk by March 27. Need gift ideas?
