Liberty Fest Zumba Party
On Thursday, June 15, join us for a Hawaiian Luau-themed Zumba Party. Admission is just $5. The event will be held at the Canton LIVE! Stage from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Come dressed to move and don't forget your water. 


Summit Hours of Operation During Liberty Fest:
The Summit will have special facility hours on Saturday, June 17, from 7 a.m. to Noon.  Normal business hours will resume on Sunday, June 18 ,from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Liberty Run Road Closures for Saturday, June 17:
Summit members planning to visit the facility on Saturday, June 17 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. will not be able to access Summit Parkway from Canton Center Road.  Members are encouraged to access the facility from the suggested alternate route off of Beck Road to Glengarry to Summit Parkway. Check here to see a Community-Alert regarding Canton Public Safety's official road closures.


Fitness Class Schedule: Saturday, June 18
Please note:  The Cardio and Strength Class with Chris, which starts at 8 a.m., will be the only fitness class offered on Saturday, June 18.

DPATH Workshop
(Diabetes Personal Action Towards Health)
Thursdays, June 22-July 27
10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
During this 6 week workshop, participants will learn how to: eat healthier, prevent low blood sugar, deal with stress, manage medications and more! This workshop is great for those with diabetes or those trying to prevent being diagnosed with the condition. Please pre-register by calling Canton Club 55+ at 734/394-5485 or online.


Aquatic Center Summer Beach Bash 
Thursday, June 22, starting at 6:00 p.m. 
Break out the Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops and splash into summer with us as we welcome in the warm weather!  All ages are welcome to this special evening of swimming, games, prizes, plus a special bonfire on the patio with s'mores. Summit members can attend for free!  The fee for Canton Residents is $5 and $10 for Non-Residents. For more information, call 734/394-5460.

Outdoor Fitness Classes
Join us at the Heritage Park Amphitheater for a wide variety of Fitness Classes, including: Yoga, Boot Camp, Barre, and more! Please bring a water bottle, mat, and towel with you to class! Schedules are available at the Summit Front Desk.

Liberty Fest Coming Attractions

Join us for Canton's 26th Annual Liberty Fest from Thursday, June 15 through Saturday, June 17 on the grounds of Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road. This year's event will feature three fun filled days of great entertainment, exciting rides and Midway games, delicious food, two stages of live entertainment, a spectacular fireworks display and much, much more! New this year! Sensory Sensitivity Carnival Hours will be available on Thursday, June 17. 


Festival goers who can't get enough of their favorite carnival rides can purchase discounted ride wristbands online now through Thursday, June 15 at Noon.  The Megaband will give you unlimited access to all wristband approved rides, during all three days of the event, for just $60.  Megabands can only be purchased in advance online.  Single Day unlimited ride wristbands that are valid for any one day are $22 each online before the Festival and at the carnival will cost $25 for Thursday, $27 for Friday, and $30 on Saturday. All discounted wristband online sales will end on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Noon. All sales are final and non-refundable.

The 6th Annual Liberty Run featuring 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile runs will take place on June 17.  A portion of your entry fee will help fund recreation and trail improvements in Canton. Gather your favorite red, white, and blue and "sparkling" gear and make your way to the starting line! Entry includes a T-shirt and finisher's medals for all distances!
