Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild (AAFG):
The AAFG is an educational, not-for-profit club of fiber artists.  Founded in 1956 as a club for weavers, the AAFG still has a large number of members who are weavers, as well as many members who create other forms of fiber art.

The focus of the AAFG is fiber and all techniques that involve using fiber or fiber techniques including:  Basketry, Beading, Bead Embroidery, Bead Weaving, Kumihimo, Crochet, Doll Making, Dyeing and Painting, Embroidery, Felting, Garment Design and Construction, Handmade paper and Book Art, Knitting, Knotting, Quilting, Sewing, Spinning, Weaving, and Surface Design.

The AAFG provides opportunities for fiber artists to meet and exchange ideas, as well as learn about fiber art through lectures and workshops.  In addition to monthly meetings, the Guild promotes the enjoyment of fiber arts through information and demonstrations.  The group also sponsors sales and exhibits of members’ work and participates in the Ann Arbor State Street Area Art Fair.

Join Santa’s most trusted elves as they try to keep spirits high at The North Pole as everyone prepares for the big event! The show promises big adventures, lots of singing, dancing and tumbling, a special visit from Santa, and fun for the whole family. Get into the Christmas spirit - don’t miss out on this show! Pictures with Santa immediately following each show is included with every ticket. Approximate run time 1½ hr. All ages must have a ticket including children being held.

Holiday Concert

The Michigan Philharmonic Youth Orchestra ensembles under the direction of Hektor Qyteti and Joanna Goldstein present their Winter Holiday Concert. Over 130 students in four youth ensembles, ranging in age from 8-18 present classical music and holiday pops.

Spotlight on Youth


In the true spirit of Christmas, get a behind-the-scenes look at the backstabbing mothers and fiercely competitive daughters in the ‘Little Miss Christmas Pageant’, an annual competition where ten girls (and their outrageous stage moms) compete for the coveted Christmas crown. Sequins, shiny-shoes, and a can of hairspray aren’t all it takes to win this battle. These diva daughters and pushy moms are armed with sheer grit and a thirst for victory. However, when the value of truth, honesty, and love is learned, Christmas spirit becomes the true winner in this heartwarming new holiday classic. Rated G. Approx run time: 2 hours.




Christmas...Always!

Canton Concert Band

Christmas will soon be here and it’s time to plan your family gatherings! Why not join the Canton Concert Band for their annual Christmas concert, ‘Christmas…Always!’ at the Canton Village Theater? Along with a show for the entire family, Santa will greet the kids before the show and during intermission and take photos with all! This will be an evening of beautiful Christmas music by the band and singing by vocalists, Santa's Singers! What better way to start your holiday season off right than with a night of music, singing, Santa, and FUN! The 55 member Canton Concert Band has entertained audiences with shows filled with holiday decorations, laughter, music singing, and comedy since 2004. The shows are much more than a concert, so come see and enjoy for yourself! Bring your family and friends and join the Canton Concert Band, Santa's Singers, and Santa for ‘Christmas…Always!’

The Christmas Broadway Spectacular will celebrate the magic of Christmas like never before with an all-new unforgettable experience as Santa Claus, Mrs. C., and Ellie take center stage with a cast of some of the best performers in the area. Get a sneak-peak at what ‘Really’ happens in the North Pole as Santa’s head elf, Ellie, and the rest of the Jolly elves pack Santa’s sleigh for the BIG night. Be mesmerized by twirling ballerinas, dazzled by dancing Toy Soldiers, and taken on a whimsical sleigh ride around the world with Santa and his magical reindeer. The beloved Christmas Broadway Spectacular promises to delight audiences young and old with a magical season to remember. Special meet and greet performances December 16 at 11 a.m. and December 17 at 12 p.m.




Aaron Radatz Holiday Magic Show
