Be sure to stop by the Canton Farmers Market this Sunday to stock up on some of your market favorites, such as: baked goods, cheeses, fresh produce and other items you've grown to love. Buying local helps our environment. Shopping at the farmers market cuts down on the travel required to get the food to the grocery store, and reduces waste from the packaging.

Produce Club
Now - August 26, 2018
NEW! Produce Club:This FREE kid’s only club is designed to empower kids to make healthy food choices and increase the amount of fruits and vegetables in their diet. 

Each week, kids will have a chance to receive a free fruit or vegetable from the Master Gardeners program and will learn where their food comes from. This weeks produce: Green Beans
  • Kids 12 years old and younger can sign-up at the Farmers Market booth located next to the Bartlett-Travis House.
  • Each participant will receive a Produce Passport to be kept at the Farmers Market Booth.
  • Every visit get your passport stamped and write or draw a picture of the fruit or vegetable you learned about. Remember to drop off your passport to the Farmers Market Booth before you leave.
  • Kids who have 7 or more stamps, will be entered for a chance to win a “PRIZE” at the end of the 2018 Club!

Ask a Master Gardener

Interested in picking up some tips that will help your garden blossom? Ask a Master Gardener. Visit the Master Gardener table with all your gardening questions and ask about their weekly topics and workshops. July 15 Gardening Topic: Vegetable Gardening

July 15: Chef Kristi Zebrowski is a Personal Chef and owner of Grace Savory & Sweet, specializing in gluten-free baking mixes, seasoning blends and baked goods. Watch as this local Chef whips up a tasty dish featuring Ricotta Stuffed Zucchini Boats!

MI Burger Burger -Don't miss this mobile food truck as it travels the streets of Michigan! Enjoy burgers that are hand-pattied using a locally sourced custom ground beef blend. YUM!

Rally on Ridge 2018
NEW DATE! Saturday, July 21
5:30-9:00 p.m.
Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Road

Enjoy the sights and sounds of summer in the Canton community, while indulging in some gourmet local eats, brought in exclusively for this event. Rally on Ridge takes place in and around Preservation Park with activities such as live music, food trucks, lawn games, a beer tent, and more! Fee: Free to attend (food truck prices vary).

Ridge Road will be closed down to accommodate the expanding food truck, and beer garden locations.  New this year!  The 21 and over crowd can also choose from a great selection of ciders.  Parking will be available at Preservation Park. Check the Rally on Ridge tab as more details become available.
