“Detroit All-Star Band Showcase”

The Village Theater is set to host a special night full of music, magic, and comedy on November 16 at 8:00 p.m. Lorio Ross invites you to experience the world of comedy-magic and music under one roof, for one night!! Direct from Las Vegas, world-renowned comedy-magician, Jeff Hobson is one of the most in demand comedy magicians working today. Hobson will be featured along with the Legendary Jerry Ross Band, the acclaimed Newsmaker Band, and Detroit's hottest up-and-coming band, Atomic Radio.

Join us for a “Salute to Service”

This special event will be held on November 11, with a 6:00 p.m. reception and 7:00 p.m. program, as Canton once again honors area service men and service women who have served or who are currently serving in the Armed Forces. This year's distinguished keynote speaker is Brigadier General Carol Ann Fausone. Don't miss this is a FREE event. In addition to the formal presentation, items for service men and women will be collected by the Michigan Military Moms, including individual size or travel size: disposable hand and foot warmers; foot and body powder; Q-tips; Beef Jerky; hot chocolate mix; wipes; granola/power bars; and monetary donations to offset postage. Please note that all items must be small enough to fit a 12” x 12” x 8” U.S. Priority box.

November 2018 Gallery @VT featuring "Food for the Soul" 

Exhibition Dates:  October 30 - November 27, 2018
Artist Reception: November 2, 7:00-9:30 p.m. (free and open to the public)

This Multi-Media Art Exhibition features a collection of Interpretive works based on photos of Detroit area musicians and music and how the power of music feeds the soul. The exhibition will also feature solo works and sculptures relating to music, and written/spoken word performed at the reception.
