Socktober
Inspired by Kid President, Canton Leisure Services will be collecting new socks for youth, men, and women starting Oct. 1- Nov. 22. Drop off socks in the lobby of the Summit on the Park. Socks will be distributed to local nonprofits in Wayne County area. 

Consumer Expo

The Canton Chamber of Commerce will host a Consumer Expo on Thursday, October 22, from 3 - 7 p.m. at the Summit on the Park. The expo features over 60 businesses, including 10 restaurants that display their items and services. The expo is free and open to the public. Summit Parking Lot Construction Update

The Summit on the Park's east parking lot will be closed for approximately three weeks for resurfacing starting on Wednesday, September 30. No public access will be available to this lot; access will be reserved for service, contractor and delivery vehicles. Parking will be available in the Summit's west parking lot and the Canton Administration parking lot.  For more information, contact Canton Park Office at 734/394-5310.


Member Appreciation Event, October 12 - 16

Join us all week long for exciting activities and giveaways celebrating our amazing members who have graciously supported us through the renovation process.  The whole week is packed with fun activities at the Summit.

Flu Shots 

Canton Leisure Services will be opening its Flu Shot Clinic to adults 18 years of age and older on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. The Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. – 12 .p.m., in the Chestnut Room at the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway in Canton, MI. This is a single day event and appointments are required. Reservations are now being taken. Sign up today by calling 734/394-5485. 
 
This Flu Clinic will accept most forms of insurance and the flu shot will be offered at no direct cost. Please bring your Medicare and/or insurance cards with you to ensure that services are billed correctly to your provider. Patients may also pay independently.
 
Patients who do not have access to health insurance may receive the following services at the following cost: Pneumonia Shots - $95; Flu Shots - $33; Flu Mist - $35.This amount will be due prior to receiving the flu shot. Costs will be billed back to health coverage providers, including Medicare if applicable.

The Canton Farmers Market is located at Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Road.  Look for us in the Barn if it's a rainy day!


Halloween Trick or Treat Parade

Looking for some spooktacular fun this Halloween? Look no further. Join Canton Leisure Services for our most popular sell out event - our Trick or Treat Parade. During the event, your little goblin will collect treats along the path and interact with popular characters like Anna & Elsa, the cast from Inside Out, Captain America and more. For those who would like a more ghoulish experience, walk through our spooky gymnasium that promises to be scarier than ever.

The event will take place on Friday, October 30 from 4-7 p.m. at the Summit on the Park located at 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton.  Stop by the Summit on the Park to purchase your tickets today!

Ticket sales for Canton residents begin Oct. 1. Non-residents can purchase tickets Oct 15. Don’t hesitate, tickets are limited!

Oktoberfest

Canton Club 55+ will be holding its second annual Oktoberfest on Tuesday, October 20 from 12 – 2 p.m., in the Maple/Oak Room at the Summit on the Park, located at 46000 Summit Parkway in Canton, MI.
 
Adults are invited to celebrate the afternoon in true Oktoberfest style. Enjoy grilled bratwursts, pepper/onions, sauerkraut, chips, pickles and delicious apple cider accompanied by wonderful entertainment.
 
Reservations for this event are required by Thursday, October 15, and can be made in person at Summit on the Park front desk; or online at www.cantonfun.org.

Registration fees are $8 for Canton Residents and $13 for Non-Residents. Please note that there will be no refunds after October 15, 2015.

Catwalk for a Cause Fashion Show
Save the Date!

Residents are invited to a special fashion show on Saturday, November 14 at 10 a.m. at the Summit on the Park Ballroom that will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Michigan. Now Hiring Lifeguards!

Summit on the Park is now hiring lifeguards and swim instructors. Flexible hours available in all shifts - great for college students or 2nd job seekers.  Not trained?  If you are interested in earning your certification and ultimately working at the Summit on the Park, sign up for the FREE Lifeguard Training Course that will be held on weekends of October 2-4 and October 9-11.  The class will be held Fridays from 5:30-9:30 p.m. and Saturdays & Sundays from 1-9 p.m. Participants must attend both weekends of the class and must be 18 years of age or older. Expresso Bike Challenge

Join the October Expresso Challenge and compete for a chance to win 5 tickets to the annual Township Tree Lighting Celebration!  The event will be held in the evening on December 2nd.  Enjoy seasonal entertainment, crafts, activities, refreshments, and more!  Stop by the Fitness Center, and ride a lap on Redwood Dash on our Expresso Bikes to join the challenge. The rider with the fastest lap time at the end of October will be the winner!


Bartlett's Kids Club

The Summit on the Park values our members, especially our kids! The Bartlett's Kids Club is free to Summit Members and will provide monthly activities for our littlest members. To register for the Kids Club, visit the Bartlett's Kids Club page.
