    Howl at the Moon Dog owners and their pets are encouraged to attend “Howl at the Moon”, a Halloween themed Dog event! Participants along with their four-legged friends can enjoy live entertainment, purchase merchandise, and receive free give-a-ways from local pet supply and service vendors. Come dressed up with your dog, there will be a contest and prizes! Both members of the Dog Park and non-members are encouraged to let their dogs experience this off-leash dog park during the event. This special event is designed to give pet owners the opportunity to learn about the Canton Dog Park, meet other pet owners, and give dogs the opportunity to become more socialized. *Note non-dog park members must show proof of up-to date vaccination for rabies and DHLPP, signed by an accredited veterinarian.     Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

  2. Comedy Hypnotist Greg Steele (Reception 7 p.m., Performance 8 p.m.)

    October 5, 2019, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ Main Auditorium

    A fundraiser to benefit the Partnership for the Arts & Humanities. Doors open at 7pm with a welcome reception that will include sample-size appetizers from local restaurants. Then, at 8pm Comedy Hypnotist Greg Steele, who has mesmerized audiences for over 20 years will take the stage providing a fun interactive experience with more laughs than a stand up comic. Audience members become the real stars of the show as they are invited to be hypnotized by Greg Steele an honoree of a 2013 Comedy Hypnotist Entertainment Award. Please help support the construction of the Village Arts Factory by contributing to the Partnership for the Arts and Humanities, a registered 501 (c)(3) organization.
