  2. Calendar Girls

    November 9, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Biltmore Studio

After her best friend Annie’s husband John, is diagnosed with terminal leukemia, Chris decides to do something a little more productive than the more traditional baking or knitting fundraising. Based on a true story watch as our leading ladies convince their local Women’s Institute based in Knapely, a small town in Yorkshire to embark on a novel fundraiser for a good cause, a new sofa for the waiting room at the local hospital. After seeing a “girlie” calendar in a local shop they decide to pose for an ‘alternative calendar’ discreetly posing nude in the hopes of raising that additional cash, as the story unfolds we see how this puts pressure on the ladies in different ways and escalates into something bigger than they ever imagined involving far more than their local Women’s Institute. Could all this “charity work” be the end of that beautiful lifelong friendship? Check out our talented cast and see how this funny and poignant story unfolds. Rated PG-13.
